Driving home when engine warning light comes on and car goes into limp mode.
At home checked fault codes and was given P0300, random/multiple cylinder misfire. Cleared it and restarted ok, engine warning light immediately comes back on. Checked codes again and was given P0351, which is the sensor for ignition coil 1 by looks of it.
Where do I start checking - having looked on forums seems to be new coil pack needed?? But others say connectors or ECU? Is there a systematic way to check? - any help gratefully received.
