If you think about many of the WRC drivers, they seem to be quite friendly people, such as Petter Solberg, Marcus Gronholm, Gigi Galli.
Compare that the the mostly-grumpy F1 lot...

Would have to agree there, the Rally boys seem to be much more grounded than F1 drivers.

Personally I think that rally drivers require a broader range of skills as well. I don't even watch F1 anymore, it's quite dull now.
