Technical replacement element

just fitted my k&n replacement element today.
after looking on clubcento it says something about removing the intake duct to help it as well.
does anybody know which part this is as i dont know my way round engines.

It's the flexible black hose which connects to the front passenger side of the airbox. Debatable if it'll give you any gain though.
Our cars respond well to lots of cold air on the intake, you could route a flexi hose from here to the front bumper to get a better air supply.
