If anyone takes stuff out of their pandas - please could they weigh them and put the results here - Ta!

Pandafan - I'm sure you can get all those bits in the garage on the scales and tell us what they weigh so we can gauge how much we can lighten our cars!!!!!

Back seats:
Cigarette Lighter:
Rear seat belts:
Head lining
Spare Wheel
etc!

Graham(e) how much do you weigh?... I suspect you're the heaviest part...

 cigarette lighter !
Gina! You may have taken the cigarette lighter out of your Panda to make it go faster - but you didn't post how much it weighed for other people's information!!!!!

As for the rust..... I'm afraid I admit to putting some black masking tape over the drivers door - - - but actually about 3kg has been removed from that one door ! You can really notice the difference in acceleration - well - it's certainly a lot more drafty!!!
Er - yes Tony, the car goes faster without me in it because I weigh 11 1/2 stone - er right?

I don't bother weighing all that stuff because I weigh 17 stone. Everything else seems imaterial.:)

It doesn't matter! I went and picked up 40 hardwood shelves along with my pal Gill - and she weighs 24 stone!!!!! No problem! (only we didn't go very fast and the car looked completely pissed as it lopped over to one side.....:( )

If you have lost weight due to rust but then covered it back up again with black tape, how much have you lost but then added back on?! and then you must think of the drag coefficient of the breeze coming under the door. If you are going to do this you must be scientific about the procedure, dont want to falsify results now :p :D

you know that means half a roll of gaffa tape to make the little car more aerodynamic :) block those breezy gaps an all:p

Just you lot wait until I get my new doors!
We'll see who's laughing then!!:
