Hi all, I’m removing the dashboard on an E reg Panda. I’ve got the wheel off, the Speedo cluster, the heater switches, clock etc. I can’t seem to get the steering column shroud or indicator switches to come off, any tips?

I’ve removed the screw from the small round hole and the bolt from the big round hole, but the shroud isn’t budging.

Some posts I’ve seen and Haynes manual suggests there’s another screw somewhere which holds the ‘clamp retainer’, but I can’t find this anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Don't know if this is relevant to yours , it is from a Fiat Doblo, if you look at the photo on the right hand side there is two screws that one either side of where steering wheel fits that you access from underneath the steering column, I have put the holes for one side slightly off set so you can see them without a screw, after that then the normal clamp has to be released as in photo.

Worked it out. You have to remove the 3 screws on each side holding the hammock end plates own, then lower the hammock. This reveals a final screw in the bottom of the shroud, right at the back.

Next task, how to remove the radio and surround… I can see the pointy end of screws poking through and attaching it to the main dashboard component, but can’t see how to gain access underneath.
