Removing adhesive from paintwork

Took some vinyl graphics off last week but it has left some patches of adhesive on the paint work.

anyone know of products to remove them? white spirit dont work but i dont wannt to use anything else incase it damages the paint

Try some Autoglym tar remover, never used it myself but its supposed to be quite good.

I had the same problem with my bump strips when i took them off and also the badges... I used EvoStick Adhesive remover is really good and got it all off... you can probably get it from b&Q or somewhere. Also it does not damage the paint.

Petrol on a rag does the trick! also in a water spray bottle will remove tarmac !!!

but for obvious reasons this is very dangerous (along with been carcinogenic due to the benzine and other chemicals in it) but yes it does work

WD-40
Panel pre wipe degreaser
methylated spirits
Isopropol alcohol

For my debadging,rub strip removal & sticker removal i used kettles of boiling water & a lot of patience.GT85 is a good residue remover too
