New to the Ducato Panel Build Van. I’m trying to find parts however, my Reg Plate isn’t recognised anywhere, so can’t source correct manufactures parts. Any ideas? Thanks.

Not unusual, parts suppliers don't always update vehicle details on a regular basis, I once found a Merc' garage had my cherished reg still on the Monkey bike i owned and had transferred to a Merc'. Ask your suppliers to update their records.

I 'm rather bemused as to why the OP needs spare parts, for what purports to be a new vehicle, which should be under warranty.

It took 18 months for my 2019 Panda to get onto suppliers databases! I guess they think new vehicles unlikely to need parts so dont rush......

My neighbours plate isn't recognised. Its because his number plate is fake!

I'm not sure why people do that. I mean, he's avoiding low vehicle tax, ,but thats probably it.
And avoiding speeding camera + parking fines. Although he's voiding his insurance I'd imagine in the event of a crash, plus encouraging prosecution from the police (if you can find one nowadays).

When my van was new it took a while before I could see it on Europarts, GSK Parts etc databases.

I’m not looking for new parts. I’m looking for an inside rear view mirror. You’d think it would be easy…..it’s not. Even trying by VIN is hard. I’ve yet to find one…….you’d think it would be easy! I even tried info on the right part from another forum member and failed.

So, it’s not about main or servicing parts, it’s the accessories parts that are the issue.

Maybe daft but you may get a lead from ePER on here.
The problem with our forum onlinePER is that it does not cover the newest models. For the ducato, it'd be like 10 years already.

Yes, it is still the same van, but had several new models and faceliftings, hard to know it the thing glued to the windshield that you attach the mirror to has been changed or not.

I have it on my van, so could send you a photo and dimensions, so you could see if it's the same on your van.

But I'll be around my van only by the end of the week (Thursday or Saturday).
