I'm buying a cheap HGT with some issues that need sorting, but like I say it is very cheap and I always kind of fancied one.
One issue is that at its last MOT it was found to have play in the steering rack... So i did a bit of recall searching and found this top of the page

I then checked the manufacture date and vin, surprise surprise it's one of the few made between those dates. I'm 99% sure it hasn't been done but will find out for certain ASAP.
If it hasn't been done, is there any hope in hell of getting fiat to honor this recall on the grounds of safety?? As far as I was aware they don't expire, can anyone in the know, or even better works for fiat confirm?
