Rear squeeks and thuds - 2nd generation fiat bravo GT

Has anyone owning a fiat bravo (2nd generation) had a thud noise come from the rear of the car? I think its the suspension, because when I bounce the car up and down, the rear drivers side makes a crunching noise. any ideas how to cure it???

does anyone have a problem with the spear wheel and the jack and accessories rattling in the boot, any ideas how to cure it???

a while ago...

I have 155 HGT and in first 6-8 weeks when driving on rough roads there was some squeeking from rear suspension, but in last 4 months (6000 miles)it has gone. Initially, I suspected it has heat shield around exhaust, but I took it to the fiat garage and they checked that and other potential sources and found nothing. How old is your car? maybe give it a few thousand miles to bed in, that seemed to be the garage opinion too!

I have also noticed on BBC Top Gear forums(www.beeb.com)a person with an alfa 156 had similar experience.
