Grande Punto rear light unit

Hello i'm new to the forum and have a problem with a bulb replacement.
I've a 56 plate Punto Grande and my problem is unsecuring the rear light unit to which seems a straight forward job.
Consulted the owners handbook which instucts me that once the rear hatchback is open then i may proceed to slacken off the 2 securing screws,,,,,,,so far,so good.
Then i come unstuck,it then instucts me to disconnect the central electric
connector (where do i find this ???) and then pull the lens unit outwards.
your help and advice would be greatfully appreciated......many THANKS:worship:

I think the handbook gets a few things lost in translation you need to remove the lamp to get to the wiring it can be done one handed (i took the below video and managed to hold the camera and remove the lamp at the same time

apply a bit of grease to the retaining tits and screw threads when refitting

You need to give it a strong tug to get the unit out and then reach round and unclip the electrical connector.
