Hi Guys ( & Gals )

Need help and fast as car on axle stands and i'm struggling...

I've got rear calliper and carrier off but cannot see how rear disc comes off!!!!

Any help / ideas will be gratefully received.

Thanks

Steve

Thanks for that - just having trouble getting the things off now!!!!

Even the hammer isn't working!!!

Any more ideas??????

Sounds as though the disc is severely corroded to the hub flange. Hit the outside of the disc adjacent to the hub flange while spinning it. The object being to crack the rust seal.

Have got pads in on drivers side - have given up on discs as cannot get them off - local garage I think now!!!!!!
Only problem I now have is I can't wind the calliper in on the pass side as it has come too far out me thinks and is now stuck!!!!
Any bright ideas on fixing this guys?????
I'm now very very cold!!!!!
I cannot get the tool in to the gap to start turning it

Hi Guys

Still can't get the piston to turn - work is now calling after 4 hours sleep!!

I'm now thinking about just taking the caliper itself off to see if I can maybe free it up....

My brain is now completely frazzled due to cold and lack of sleep... If there is anybody out there in the Bradford/Leeds/Halifax/Huddersfield area that can help me on this I would really appreciate it as my wife is in desperate need for her car as she uses it work.

Thanks

I have now managed to get the caliper off but i'm in need of help....

If anyone can help me then please give me a ring on 07561222247

Thanks in advance

steve

How are you winding the caliper piston?

Do you have the correct tools? (i.e. one left hand thread and one right hand thread).

The piston has a triple concentric screw thread inside it to allow for automatic handbrake adjustment. If the piston has come out too far, you're unlikely to get it back in.
