Technical rattle on acceleration

hello all, i have had my gp for about 8 months now, and it has had this rattle since i got it (amongst other things =S) it happens at 1500 - 1800 rpm religiously then disappears until around 3000 rpm, then goes again. it doesnt matter whether im on full throttle or no throttle, it sounds like something metallic is loose and rattling, any ideas whether it might be a part failing or whether it could be related to the top mount bearing, which is also driving me to some form of nuclear explosion :bang: thanks for all and any help =)

Aye sounds like the air intake grommet on the bracket. The part is £7-8, or you can just hold it down with some cable ties.

Cable ties didn't work for me, what did work was a long piece of string tied really tightly in one of those fancy sailor knot thingies. Stopped irritating rattle, though it was more like a HMMMMMMMMMM instead of a rattle.

Mines cable tied. Has been for 3 years now,..

It's one of the few things that lead me to this Forum in the first place...

Absolutely bob on, I have removed it as it sounds much better without it combined with my p&p throttle body is an awesome combo thanks guys
