General Radio signal

I have a market stereo that came with the car when I bought her however the signal is well pretty rubbish does anyone know how I can get a better signal and whether it is the stereo or the Ariel?

Was it good before the swap

It could be the ariel base is ready for a strip clean and rebuild

Had todo that with a scrappy ariel base as it was seized solid

I see I am not too sure it seems like a good stereo but that's all I know

Not the stereo been good but the signal strength before the radio swap

I hope you dont mind BUT, my signal is not all that good with the original fiat radio or with a new goodmans radio ! any ideas how I can get it any better.

Remove, strip, clean ariel base up

the aerial base separates from the aerial bit confirmed by trying to spin the aerial
the solution is a s/h base with aerial complete but will you guys stop buying them from upullit so i can get them all next time
