Technical radio question

hi all i am new to this forum
and would like to know why everytime i start my weekend
the radio comes on even though i switched it off before stopping
i do not have a manual yet as i only picked the car up yesterday

Hi and welcome to our forum

Do you have the AD185 M or H model? M has a volume knob, H has volume +- buttons.

On the H model switch the radio ON and keep the Mute button pressed until you see IGN ON to activate auto on or turn the radio OFF and press the mute button until you see IGN OFF in the display. This turns the auto on feature on and off.

I'm not sure if that works for the M model.

hi,

i also just got my weekend but i can't make it auto on/off. mine is 182 H2 with volumn knob. pressing MUTE button can't bring the IGN ON. only MUTE if press for 3sec.

any other way?

Just had a look and I can't see anything in the manual about ignition on/off. It may not be possible on that model.
