So so sad. My thoughts are with the family and his extended fiat family.

Richard helped me out less than a few weeks ago. One of the good guys.

RIP Urchin

These things always happen so suddenly, I was reading posts by Richard only a couple of days ago.

My thoughts and condolences go to his family and friends. He came across as a helpful and kind man, and his presence here will be sorely missed.

Some comfort can be taken that he will never be alone, and has the late Steve Yensen to talk panda into the early hours.

RIP Urchin.

I've not met many from FF, but Richard was one that I had. He went out of his way to help me source a part, and then didn't mind me turning up in the middle of the night (got lost on the way) to collect it.

He was always a pleasure to talk to, and will be missed by all that knew him. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

I first met Richard after messages on FF at Stanford Hall, raining heavily by still had the BBQ going under the gazebo!

I brought along Poppi and he had the silver 4x4 on display, was a good day and such a nice guy to talk to!

RIP Richard. My thoughts go out to Paula and family.

As far as the rest of things go - Paula had expressed a desire for any funeral donations to come to the forum.

Whilst this is a nice gesture, it didn't seem quite appropriate - so instead, we will be using all the donations to go towards the purchase of a custom made trophy, perhaps the "Urchin Cup" for best FIAT? This will then be awarded each year (probably at Mitcar) - and will be passed on annually.

I will of course keep you all up to date on this - never bought something like that before, so it needs a bit of research!

And we are back - I hope Richard was in all your minds this previous hour.

Good luck up there sir (y)

He was indeed! I was hoping to attend today as a mark of respect but realised this morning I'd looked up Bramcote near Birmingham not near Derby. There's no way I'd make it back to se London for a family commitment I have this afternoon so very annoyed with myself over that.

My love and thoughts go out to all the family and friends of Richard/Urchin
