Technical punto mia 1.2 oil filter

Does anyone know what type of oil filter I need for a punto mia registered in Jan 2001?
If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated.

they do 2 types at the dealer short stumpy and a tall skinny one. I have a 2002 mia which uses the short stumpy filter so u might nee to have a look under the hood.

yeh if yhou look on your existing filter for the part number and the order the correct one

The punto mk1 1.6 85 sporting filters are larger.

I've always run them; a little more filtration is always welcome.

Yes mate.

I've run them on my 8v for years and same for the HGT.

They're about twice the size. Normal 8v/HGt filter:

Thats great thanks. Definitely what i'll use the next time. I should mention that my car uses the bigger one of the two that are fitted to this engine. Cheers again
