Technical Punto ECU Question

Back to this section again.

I think I know the answer to this question, but is it possible to swap any fiat 1.4 16v ECU, locks, code, and barrel into a mk2b?

My first assumption is yes, but I need to know before I go ahead and start pulling it all out of another car.

is it going into another mk2b punto?

As if its going into a mk2 - i think there is a difference meaning there are unavoidable problems

The car i'm buying is a 1.4 16v, but doesn't have any keys with it.

So I'm going to replace the locks, barrel, fillercap, ECU, and codebox. Finding it difficult to find a mk2b 1.4 16v being broken so I was thinking of either using a panda 1.4 16v or stilo 1.4 16v items.
