Hi,

last year my punto was blowing cold air and overheating.

After having new water pump, new thermostat and new radiator it turned out to be the head gasket which was replaced. cost a fortune.

Now its happening again, but not overheating. When the temp gets to halfway, the fan comes on, which was not happening last year.

Any ideas anyone?? had a gutsfull now!!!

did you bleed the air form the system correctly..??
remove the cap from the expansion vessel, and let the engine run on low rev's until the fan kicks in.
This with the heater knob on hot.
This should bleed the air from the cooling system.
Because with air inthe system it will go to the heating radiator, pushing the coolent awayf rom it.
Resluting in no warm coolent to give you warm air inside the car.
