Replacing a deisel pump on one of these is a tad more complicad than Jug makes out.

everything is more difficult in real life than a thread makes it sound
Meaning that if you tackle it knowing nothing and you move or upset the pump cog then it won't start and could potentially **** up the whole engine.
No offence but I wouldn't go telling Alex it's easy since he can't get a pc to work.

thats a very good point, i was forgetting the pump had been removed so you wont know how to align the timing mark on the new pump because you cant copy the old one. big problem.
I nearly learned this lesson the hard way myself, these type of old pumps are a whole different barrel of spikey monkeys for replacing cambelts.

lol pulling a PC apart when your p*ssed and stoned is different to fitting a diesel pump with a mate, i kinda decided i couldnt be botherd with it anyway
Pulling a pc apart is a bad move period when your not certain what your doing, just get a working one and use the bloody thing than dismantling it.
These Peugeots have the diesel pump on the engine and it is timed with the rest of the engine, even help from a mate or 100 mates you'd still be struggling, that's old school mechanics.

bah! was p*ssd! anyway if i hadn't of done that, i wouldn't have gotten a 2.4ghz 1gig ram 120hd pc for 20 quid
