I am getting more and more into PC gaming now, whilst my PS2 collects dust under the TV [well, it is turned on occassionally].

My query - I have steering wheel/pedals and gamepads for the PS2, but nothing for the PC, and am loathe to double up! Then I came across this:

http://www.kanection.co.uk/product.php/34/0/

A few other suppliers seem to do it as well - does anyone on here use it, or one similar? Any problems?

Oh, I haven't looked on eBay just yet :p

I have used a similar for years. I've broken the wire on it now so i need to get a new one. The one i had didn't have the rumble support. It is a very useful product as PS2 controllers are far better than any i've seen for the PC. Dunno about the wheel support, but for £10 and being able to use the pad its worth it.

Yeah, looked around a bit more, and they all seem to have force feedback support now, plus dance mat support [not that I own such a thing :p].

I have now seen them for £6.99 as well :woot:

You could pop into your local Game, they have them in there, they got a nice looooong cable on them..tho £9.99..no postage cost tho! :)

Good idea, I can pop into them tomorrow lunchtime, via the pub.

Do you use one?

EDIT - just found link:

I will compare to the others on sale, but looks like only minor variances.

I've got the one from netpc, was about £8 two years ago and I use mines for MAME and Emulators.

Easy fitted etc, you get drivers on a disk but I think XP installs generic drivers which can handle it anyhows.

Nice - so all the vibration works, plus I got a Force Feedback steering wheel and pedals!!!

DO you just assign keys in-game then?

I used mine to play GTA: VC on the PC and copied the controls from some PS2 website to be the same, on the control mod option you just press your keys and they appear as "J5, J8" etc

I have one of the Game ones..its great, use it for playin Need for speed most wanted..just install the driver disk and away you go!!

It came today :D

I got the Super Dual Box one, with capacity for two controllers. Just installed driver on floppy, then booted up "Stars Wars II - Battlefront" - had to tweak a few key bindings, but just took an X-fighter out against the Empire, and it is great :) - my warriors not yet set up fully, lol.

Wonder if it will be any good on America's Army? :chin:
