From this thread I do fully agree that there are a lot of dangerous drivers out on the road now a days, Plenty of my neighbours are very dangerous drivers
I've even seen the whole BMW 1 series and the snow chains on the front wheels just down the road from me also, It's just lack of common sense... Misjudgement of corners/speed/driving abilities, It all contributes to accidents. There is nothing in this thread that I wouldn't agree with at the moment.
Due to statistics throwing the blame to teenagers etc, I can fully agree with it... Someone needs to take the blame for all the Atrocious driving.
Most accidents do come from teenagers, Mainly idiots that have no pride in their cars, people that cherish their cars as I do and so does Rigby on here... are usually sensible drivers and fully understand their limits within driving. Most of my "friends" just get given £5,000+ to chuck at a new car and then insurance paid for them, Many a time I've seen idiotic drivers in brand new cars with baby faces like mine. That is life, If parents decide to do that with their cash and in some way hope their child will get out alive with a 5 star encap car when they crash it at 80mph with 5 chavs in the car then so be it. I despise idiots that fork money off their parents to afford expensive cars and then treat them poorly, it's not the way it should be.
My way of looking at it is, Driving is a LUXURY and most teenagers that give the very small section of us a bad name by driving irresponsibly don't even have a good outlook on driving, they see it as a way of socialising with mates, showing off etc, mainly causing accidents. I see it as a form of taking glory over my shed of a Fiat that I drive, Getting to and from of work and college and occasionally helping out my family.
So far i've not even got close to having an accident but I've also witnessed the incompetence of the general public that drive, Idiots reversing into me whilst parked up putting petrol in my car
Not even checking their mirrors, Many people I see not even managing to use the correct lanes on the roundabout, I indicate all the time/use the correct lane (I even indicate at 1:00 in the morning on the way back from work) It's a habit and people shouldn't get sloppy after passing their test. I also think that people should be forced to re-take their test upon proving their incompetence to drive correctly.
- Rigby, I think I know who you mean.
