Oops. Things have been a tad busy at work but through the worst of it now :)

For those who don't know, the Panda died rather epically. Hit diesel, back end stepped out and I over-cooked the correction. One or two rolls later it met that great breakers in the sky.

This is what I'm replacing it with

For a variety of reasons, this is a practical solution. More to follow :)

Yeh..I wouldn't. Not from Brewer anyway...

A few days off have seen me begin work on the van. Long term there is much to do:

Full rubdown/repaint (watch this space)
Badgless grille
Cavalier slab alloys
Lower?
Retrim the van area out. Carpet tiles/vinyl or something.

But before any of that it's time to stop the rot before the van turns to dust. Thankfully it's all superficial and not structural. Over winter I might try and underseal the van. Maybes.

So...work on the rear of the van is well underway. Lets start with the n/s arch, as it was the worst..

That battery is only a year old bud, im of the opinion that its the wiring from the alternator that's broken down not allowing it to charge correctly, I will get a look at it when im home, all I am going to do is run 2 cables alongside the main loom, one positive and one negative, straight onto the battery, see if that helps anything

Yeah, the problem with it is the charging, when I was bothered by it, I replaced the alternator and battery, the alternator is pushing out a healthy 14.2v but measured at the battery its only 13.4 or something. so its a breakdown in the wires somewhere. I thought I mentioned that before, sorry bud. was there some wire in the back when you got it? that's some I had set aside from the pile of spaghetti at fs hq to do a repair. Will get some wire and clips and sort it bud :)
