You can see the orangey colour contrasted by the lights' red. Keep the bumpers grey, but yeah, Mk2 bumper and lowering by quite a bit and it's really getting there!!

ps is that a punto wiper arm on there??

 F R O $ T Y

Yep i will do mate im on the look out for a mk2 rear bumper at the mo...
And yeah it's a punto rear wiper arm, im just in the middle of some de locking at the mo, will post more later..:D

Been real busy again today, my lights are fitted as you all most prob already know and i've also been busy removing the rear boot lock and handle, really simple to do.
The hardest bit is trying to get the filler complety flat which took me several light coat's of filler and alot of sanding down.
As you can see from the first pic when the lock is removed there's a little ledge that sit's higher up so i sanded this down flat first then cut a plastic square out of thick plastic and held the on the back of the boot then using some fibreglass i filled the whole up, note i only used a tiny bit of fibreglass to get a smooth affect, then finished it off with several layers of thin filler...
It's almost there i think tomoz ill try one more thin smear then it shud be job done, ill lightly spray it in primer then the body shop will do the final preps if needed.
Also is a pic of the one black wheel on the car i totaly hate them black, so as you can see i have been slowly been gettin it off with thinners but it takes ages..... A couple of you wanted to see them black so here it is..

I dunno chap's maybe if they where a nice glossy black then they might look ok but i like the silver alot ??
And about them plates i've got some gb ones a pair infact but i don't wanna fit them untill she's been painted...(y)

Well, next stage on the body work is to remove the door lock's from all the doors, i got 2 mint doors from dragyth already stripped out so i think the best way to do it is to weld a little plate on the inside of the door and then only a small amount of filler is required ( less to crack and bubble up ) .
Then ill re fit the door but leave them stripped down so the sprayer can paint the inside of them aswell..
I was thinking when it get's resprayed could i just mask off along the side graphic rather than taking the whole graphic of and gettin them re made, as im sure a pattern one won't look as good as the original..
I got two wings and a bonnet to go on so i will loose a little of the side graphic but it will be easy to make the graphic on the wing as it's only a couple of black lines....
Also can any body make up the black door pillar strips or can you still get them from fiat??

Just paint the pillars in satin black Rob. Car manufacturers only use decals due to cost on the production line. Paint will be more precise and durable...............M.

Rob, Personally I wouldn't spray round the graphic, maybe get a local company to make them, they don't look too complex so should be easy to make accurately but check before you send her off to the painters.

Matteo, what paint would you recommend to spray pillars?

Alright Rob.

I knew I was on the right tracks spraying wheels black!

It's a bit two-tone with the old school graphics and dk.grey bumpers, so could well work?

As for the doors, you gonna take the pair off me hands for £45 quid? If so I'll take the motors etc... out of the doors on the black ones as spares for ya. Black ones are both rusted through at the bottom - not any good for a decent resto like yours. If they ain't good enough for mine, definetly ain't good enough for yours!

Good luck. Delocking looking good. Uno's coming along pretty quick!

Go for a matt dk grey or matt black for the pillars. do a couple coats.
