Made the trip back to SPL yesterday to pick up Bucket. I took a few quick photos before he was lifted on the trailer and wrapped in a tarpaulin...........












It really does look fantastic in the flesh, so pristine! I'll take some more pics when it's in the workshop of the areas that were rusty, all you can see now is spotless metal or a hole where the rust was.
There doesn't appear to be any dents to speak of, it really is a great shell, all of its shabby appearance was down to the paintwork.

It looks shiny at the moment because they've covered it in a protective oil. This really will be a luxury to work on such a clean shell, I think this part of the process is well worth the money. (y)

can't believe it ! it looks superb already....just goes to show you shouldn't go by first appearance.....hell i might have to change bucket's name now. shame it cost money to do this....if anyone wants to know about the pennies side of things i am quite happy to divulge the cost.....in return for a donation (only joking).....now eagerly awaiting the next stage. cheers vern.
