General Problems with my back box! :( Need help!

Hi guys,

I have a 1999 Fiat Punto MK1 60SX, 1.2 litre.

The problem is that my back box is sort of hanging off and I'm holding it up with wire straps; and the reason its hanging is off is because where the bracket is welded to the back box, the weld has broken and now my back box has a bit of hole. Ahhhh

So my solution was to get this -

Do you think this will work?

No problem with that back box as long as the fitter is reasonably competent.
