Technical Help! I need to replace the indicator, wiper unit

I have a 1995 Punto S Bertone cabriolet. I need to replace the indicator/wiper unit. I have removed the steering wheel and surrounding covers but the unit won't budge. I can't see clips or screws keeping it in place, I would like some advice please.

Is it one piece with the lighting stalk and also some are clamped to the steering column outer.

Yes, the unit is all one piece,

So there is a clamp arrangement at the back of it securing it to the steering column?

It's difficult to see behind, but I couldn't see a clamp.

Logic would indicate in the absence of any thing else this may be the answer.
As you are replacing that unit why don't you check on the new one?

After taking off the bottom cover which was still in place, I located the bolt holding the clamp on and I have now managed to remove the unit, so now waiting for the new one to arrive. Thanks for all your help
