Hi i am completely new to this forum and i have already seen couple of posts hovewer they weren't really specific enough recently i got myself hand on Fiat stilo 1.6 16v with 38k miles i needed quick ride and for that purpose it was fairly decent offer little did i known what i was getting into now lets get to the point only thing which works on my instrument cluster is the airbag warning light which then comes away after while and thats it i have new 60ah battery (dont really want to invest money into bigger one) another thing is that lights all around dashboard such as light under cabin temperature twist button dont work since they are all powered from instrument cluster
I got the cluster out and noticed the coroded points of contact as mentioned in couple of posts hovewer how does one clean these bear in mind i dont have any proper soldering iron to even touch the circuit board with soo o dont want to risk anything like that another option would be to send cluster to repair somewhere hovewer i rather try to do it myself then to pay 150£ for refurbish from Basic logic There must be power going into the board but those coroded contracts are just breaking it?
