Hi all Fiat owners!

Recently brought my first fiat (ducato 2.0 11 jtd), soon realised it has all the common faults and working my way through the list!

Im looking for some help if possible on electric windows and central locking.. There is power to the switch and when I push window button it sends power.. if i connect power to the motor the window goes up and down fine.

I saw a post/thread online saying it could be a control module unit behind hazard switch on dash, I took this off today and didn't see anything that looked like it could be that.
so I removed the glove box, fuse cover & side panel I found a old tracker which I removed, and a large connector just dangling which comes off the main loom, was hoping if someone can tell me if something is missing, also found a brown box with 2 cables, that could be module unit??.

Many thanks in advance!!

Thats the unit from memory there are at least three fuses involved so I'd eliminate that avenue first. Wiring diagram in available on the elearn cd in the download section.

Many thanks!

Fuses was the first thing i checked when i went to buy the van, every fuse is fine and never had one blow, realised it had central locking when i removed door card to inspect window motor.

Before i checked power and the working of window with direct power i brought 2 complete doors and plugged them in with no change.. so then i went back and got a friend to test as im no good with electrics.
