Hello guys,

I'm struggling with my Ducato 250 2007, the central door locking is not working.
When I push the key open or close, the indicator will illuminate (same as normal operation) but there is not action on the doors. (even the light on the middle of the console works).

I cant close the car in any way.
The problem started when I was trying to repair the rear locks (sliding and rear door) - cabin door lock was working. I found out that under the passenger seat there is a module, two black wires were cut, I soldered that and after that situation nothing works. I have checked the MES fault codes.
I've read DTC from MES:
B102A Door lock relay
B102B Cargo area lock relay
B1029 Door unlock relay

I have no clue where to look at this or those relay to check it/them.

Any advise please?

Thanks,
Jedrzej

Just a guess , but is it possible the black wires had been cut due to previous owner unable to fix rear locks?
I would be tempted to try with all the doors open, using a screwdriver to push all the door catches into their fully closed positions, so assuming no electrical fault at any lock then see if locks work correctly going to lock position.
You may need to delete the error codes before proceeding.
Two reasons for checking this, one is I have found doors that do not shut correctly prevent central locking from working and the other is I have also found the electrical side of door lock mechanism give trouble requiring new lock.
Note!!! Very important release door locks with normal mechanical release before trying to slam the doors or you will damage locks!;)

Hi Jedrzej,

Welcome. I do not know the finer details of the x250, as I have an x244. However I have previously found some information, which may help.

Click on "Downloads" at the top of the page follow Fiat commercials, and select Ducato. Seek out x250 Training Manual and download the larger file, which is a pdf document. Scroll to page 144, headed Door Management Control Unit. I suspect that is the module that you found. It is M080 in following diagrams, and connects to the BCM M001. M080 contains relays that are controlled by the BCM, and therefore monitored. I cannot see any other relays on the following diagrams.

More precise information will be available in Fiat eLearn for the x250, but that is a large document both to download, and explore,

Is it possible that the codes relating to your side and rear doors are old, and will reset now that you have repaired the wiring?

Hello, thanks for the answer.
Firstly, in the case of locks - I replaced the locks, both in sliding door and rear door.
After that I was looking for other issues with wires etc. After investigation I found out that those two black wires are cut. Black red and black blue, I reconnect them with soldering and try to use the remote controller.
I closed the car and it stayed closed, but only on front doors.
I couldn't open the car with the remote controller and the button inside the car so I opened doors manually from the inside.

After that story I have issues with this fault codes etc.

Maybe there is something wrong with that M080, I have no idea.
The fault codes are continually, and according to MES - signal low - fatal.
I was trying to clear, but every time when I'm trying to close the car that pops out.

Those colours ere coded as NR, and NL which are shown on the wiring diagram as connecting to the side and rear door lock motors, so those lock motors would not work with the wires cut.

Do take note that the door lock control module has several different versions, according to locking arrangement. See page 147 of Training Manual.

Great. But not, wiring is correct.

I will start with M080 and let you know the progress.
Thanks!

My main consideration is, why front doors were working and after connecting rear locks everything is broken.

That may be as a van based vehicle the key fob may only unlock the front doors for security reasons until you press another button on the correct three button fob.
I have a Citroen Dispatch van (Fiat Scudo rebadged) that both the manual key and key fob only unlock the front of vehicle.
Thinking about it, my Doblo van is the same.
Does your diagnostic tool allow you to activate modules, such as locking etc.
Probably MES does and I know my Maxiecu does also.
