Hi again

Here is the description from eLearn:

The engine oil sensor signal control unit M186 receives an ignition controlled power supply (INT) at Pin 1, via the line protected by Fuse F35 located in the junction unit under the dashboard B002. It receives information from the engine oil level sensor K032, at Pin 3 (positive) and Pin 6 (negative) and sends these signals: from Pin 2 (oil level signal) and Pin 5 (Earth signal) to the control unit M010 (Pins 52 and 22 of connector A respectively).

See schematic attached.

Wire Colours:

HV Red/Green
RB Red/White
RV Red/Green
NZ Black/Violet
BR White/Red
V Green

Thanks Anthony.
The problem I had was pin 4 in the connector block and the plug. It had a amplifier fitted direct to the fuse box b4 I bought it and obviously the guy didn't fit the plug back in correctly. 4 years I've owned it as well. It put the lock out light on the dash every time, it seems to cut out the fuel supply or would it just be because this unit shuts the engine down because it reads a fault.

It looks like you have two broken wires in the second picture a white one and a brown one?
Thanks Chris.
Yes they are clean cut wires that just end short of the plug. There is nowhere for them to connect to at the plug, just popped out when I removed the cloth tape so just taped them neatly back

Thanks Anthony.

I hasten to add the amplifier isn't connected at all to this unit, I think they disconnected all wiring whilst they were cocking it all up
