Hi all,
I have Grande punto 2007 dual-logic 1.4.
all is good, last month I even changed the brushes of the sellespeed motor to have more 5 years of peace
.
I have small problem, its 50% chance to get power steering warning light when I start up the car(more than 2 years now), the light goes off as soon as I turn the steering wheel and the power steering working OK. it seems like DIAGNOSTIC error at start up rather then EPS failure , some of the time in the first 10 meters of driving the wheel out of center ~ 30 degree angle to left and it automatically calibrates it self after 10~20 meters of driving .
I have new VARTA battery .
I have cleaned all the EPS connectors, I suspect that its Perhaps because of the sellespeed accumulator - maybe its near to its *** and cant hold enough oil, when I open the door-the pump is ON, and I get in and when I put the key in and turn it to ON- the pump is ON again! so making battery voltage drop and the EPS diagnostic fail- in normal mode - the pump shouldn't engage again right?
thanks in ahead!
