Hi all,

I have a 2009 1.1 Eco active Panda with 44,500 miles on with FSH.

Today when going round a round about I had a loss of engine power, the car still moved however was jolting as if it was stalling? I have 3/4 of a tank of fuel so not running out.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be?

Thank you,

James

Could be loose electrical connection, water in fuel, even a faulty driveshaft.
Find a big empty space like a supermarket car park after closing and se if you can replicate the issue. Try turning both ways at different speeds and amounts of steering input. See if the are any other indications of what is going on like steering pulling or warning lights. There was too much going on when fault first appeared for you to do analysis. If you have access to diagnostics like Multiecuscan have a look for stored fault codes.

If there is no error code logged

You will have to reproduce the problem before you can fix it.

There been a few on here that have only failed going over speed humps

Wiggling wires and pipes until you find it is the only way.

Run 2 tie wraps around the ECU to hold the 2 plugs down, the sockets may have opened up giving intermittent contact and so a misfire.
Happened to my 2009 panda last week!
