Tuning power down

Hello shipmates.
Finnaly got the Sporting running, only to havr the fuel pump fail. Replaced that and the only thing is that it holds back on power. No missfire . Could a bloked fuel filter cause problems in this area?

Possibly, first thing I'd check is the timing, possibly air filter clogged
