How many amps are you running?

Main 4-gague cable from the battery needs to go to the positive on the cap, then a lead from there to your amp or a power distribution block.

Run a 4-gague earth cable from the negative side of the cap to an earth point and run your amplifier earths to the - cap.

Does that make sense?

Re: Re: POWER CAP

yes mate that makes sense but the instructions i have says its neccesary for me to also connect the neg from the battery to the neg on the cap.

Re: Re: Re: POWER CAP

No you dont need to run a cable from the negative of the battery. use the same negative point as your amplifier, seat belt bolt or similar.
