aite just fitted a power cap, sure i done it right but a few questions.

do i have to run a wire from the amp remote connextion to the remote connection of the cap?


shud the cap only turn on when i start the engine although my headunit is not on?

It depends on the cap. Mine has a built in sensor so when the voltage drops / amps pick up by a certain amount it will switch itself on. So no i didnt have to attach the amp remote wire, and it turns on when anything draws more than an amp or 2 more than normal (so engine + headunit may even be off etc)
 
thats the wiringing diagram i dont have a wire running from it at the moment, so what wud i need to run.

also the distribution block i brought have 6 hole things, does it matter which holes i put the +ve from battery, +ve from amp and +ve from the cap?

By the looks of things you need to run a wire from the amp remote wire - only needs to be a thin piece about the same diameter as the one you've got going to your amp. If the wires long enough just cut a bit off that and use it. You can get away with using the amp remote terminal to join both wires together :)

As for the distribution block, i dont believe it matters - although there may be a designated power input terminal. all the outputs shouldnt matter tho...
