i have just got a power boost valve for my fiat bravo 1.6 sx and i cant fit it, i cannot find the fuel regulater, please can anyone give me advise on how to find the fuel regulater and how to actually fit the power boost valve, any help would be very much welcome :)
 
I knew I had to set my watch again !! LOL ;)

The best fitting method is to take the valve, re-insert it back in it's packaging, seal the box, relocate it back to the place you bought it and ensure they output a full refund :)

They really don't work and are a complete waste of money. We get these posts so often you really can set your watch by them ;)

lmao thanks for the help guys :p but i got it from ebay so i cant send it back :p so any advise on how to actually fit it to the car and not the box :p
 
Like Rob said. The regulator you need to attach it to is in your dustbin. It does not need to be fully attached. Open the lid and throw it in there.

It will do as much use :)

How much did you pay for your 5p resistor?

Search the forum for these things. All they do is screw up your fuel and do nothing else
 
could you recommend any other performance upgrades that would be more effective?
 
i agree do not fit it.

when it comes to engine mods you talking a whole lot of money for very little gains. i have given up on mine. was going to get it chipped but its alot of money for like 5bhp odd. i have supersprint system with de-cat. no difference there. induction kits are useless, as are powerboost valves and resistors etc...

 
Good quality panel filter, cams & dastek chip (last 2 ain't cheap). Cat back exhaust and manifold will be recommended but I haven't noticed an increase in performance.

I wouldn't say induction kits are useless, I put one of those enclosed ones on and I did notice a bit more pull lower down the range. Plus, I love the roar when I'm giving it some.
