iirc thats the hormann wide bodykit but i'm no uno expert, someone confirm

I can's seam to find the picture that u lot are on about, but yeah dragyth is fitting the horr mann full kit to his uno, as im in the middle of doing his welding for him..
He's got some nice bit's to go on his uno and he has some red/clear lights aswell, keep ur eye out for the resto thread of his u will see all his progress and his kit going on.... :slayer:

Well the kit is available i think from a company in germany but it's £1500 that's an awful lotta money for a kit thats been around a long time, not worth it imo....

The first pic is the car dragyth bought and broke for spares cus it was full of tin worn, the wheels are now on my car, and the exhaust, and the bleed valve the kit is going on dragyth's uno and the gear box is going in my 127 uno turbo engined beast... ssshhh that bit's a secret.. lol
Any way all part's have gone to a good home at least since most is on my car or dragyth's car lol

one x uno that I found from my computer's uno folder. Damn expensive then I could buy Nissan 200sx Turbo or Porsche 944 for that kind of kit money, sick. But it looks defenentely awesome. Yeah nice rob, now we heard about your 127 project You should talk about it closely one day. Maybe this kit comes to ebay one day, but cannot be sure.

just thought i'd post a picture of the car now

The rear windows are now tinted, I've also undersealed all of the wheel arches and sills, going to do the floor pans and boot floor etc next,

The head is off the car and i've sent it off to be skimmed before i put it back on, I've got a new waterpump, cambelt, alternator belt, head bolts etc to go on and it should be running next week

Nearly another uno saved mate, looks sweet with the windows tinted just love that smooth look it has..
missing my uno now but i think im gonna buy another one after christmas but i might get a mk2.... dunno yet..... the mk1's look so sweet slammed..

hope the box and turbo are good, only time will tell

its not really being saved, its hard as nails so can take it, its lasted 18 years and is still going strong. i'm just doing what previous owners should have done which is looking after it, prolonging the life of it and replace some much needed parts instead of driving it around, ignoring the lttle problems it has then flogging it on and buying something else

its going to be up forsale after xmas so if your after one you know where to find one

Hey, how'd you apply the tints like that. One big sheet, and laid it down carefully?

Rear window job isn't great but the side windows look very well done.

She's becoming a bit of an Uno Slapper, getting about a bit on FF now.
Never mind though, i love her, and what a great ride she is too!

the rear sides are ok but i couldnt remove the plastic window opener thing so had to cut round it but it looks ok,

the tailgate window isnt brilliant but i did it all myself and am pretty pleased with it, I took the tailgate off and laid it down in my garage and used a roll of tint from a motorfactors for it,

i'm going to use dark smoke on the fronts as the rears are drug dealer black and are too dark to put on the front. when i had a micra i put them on the fronts too and it was difficult to see round corners at night lol

I had a genmetal mk1 with dark smoke front back and sides. It was a rare one with the black headling too and inside the car was like night time 24/7!

Be aware dark smoke in the fronts is illegal.

yes i know dark smoke is illegal, my micra had limo black on the fronts and i drove it round for almost a year as it was and even when i got pulled in it they never mentioned the tints,

you could never see who was driving it even in the day time the tints were that dark lol

Na some Mk1s had dark grey headlining, or you could get, on later cars, the vinyl roofline, which I reckon he's referring to... or something.

Wow nice Yellow is the only colour for unos
