bobe1, nice... welcome to the forum! (y)

Your Uno looks a minter. Did you do those mods yourself or buy it as-is? And most importantly, do you like driving it?

Bushboy - pretty good work, considering you only kept the car for a few weeks wasn't it? Was there something wrong with the door cards - I thought the Mk2 had a different design to the Mk1 and I thought it was a lot better... Also one other question; was that yellow an original FIAT colour (I'm guessing not?) and which yellow did you use?

Thanks,
-Alex

Welcome and nice car Bobe1!

He bought it like that, kept it for 5 minutes and sold it again. Pretty sure Fiat never sold the Uno in Yellow, I kinda like it. If Bushboys insurance company is anything like mine they must love him, £20 admin cost to modify the policy, kerching!

ello ello?

where've you been hiding all this time, ya Hormann man??

To be honest I reckon the wheels are a bit overkill. I was thinking about going for 16" compomotive wheels when my Hormann kit's sorted out but even then I'd be concerned about the loss of agility at low speed.

How's she handle? =)

...and where in the country are ya?

I'll answer that! Those are mk1 door cards for sure. Quite how they ended up on a mk2 only Bushboy can answer ;)

Looked good Chris (y)

What did you use to stick it down with? I'm looking at buying some leatherette on Ebay to re-cover my roof lining, but wondered what adhesive to use that will stick it down. And how much does the adhesive cost?

Oh, and Bobe1. Nice looking mk1! :slayer:

I used some spray stuff i found in B&q.. seemed to do the job well enough (y)

as for the door cards, well im pretty sure the doors were replaced for MK1 doors (origina ones were probably rusty) at the time it was resprayed.

Its a renault yellow colour, almost identical to broom yellow.

As for selling it.. cost me too much on the insurance. and no, luckily they dont charge me for changing cars :p

I know i've posted loads before, but one more pic of the rally car, getting very wet and muddy :)
(N.B. just after this we set a load of top ten times, against every other car which had at least 75bhp, cf. our 45bhp !!!!)

My baby...:D

Away at Uni in Stoke at the mo though, so she's sitting on the driveway back in Suffolk (n)

Bunging a 1.4 turbo in during the summer hopefully, just gotta find a scrapper with a decent engine...not ripping a roadworthy MK2 up

Woo, that's clean.
Never seen or heard of this one before. I like it. The rear lights suit it nicely, too.
