Hey there, so I got my punto remapped (yay big win, its a brand new car)
Got 108 bhp / 241Nm @ 2050 rpm
Now as many of you will know, you will get a judder coming from the Clutch/Dual Mass flywheel.
I spoke with the mecanic and it's a well known problem with the vw touran, the DMF just can't handle the power and will get offbalance creating a judder. If I'm understanding this right.
Now the fix should be, to weld up the flywheel and get the whole thing balanced. Gearbox, Clutch, and flywheel.
Have anyone tried this? Heard about it?
Ofcourse there is a DMF for a reason, something with easier gear shift and more dampning on power spikes. But I'm willing to let that go, if I can fix the DMF judder, and then take the remap all the way to gearbox failing point @ 320Nm (so i've heard)
