Would you pay £1600 on insurance?
I paid £1800 on the HGT for first year on own name now after 3 years down to £580 all mods covered, I know its a crippler but if its the car both of you really love

as much as i'd love the oh-no, i couldnt sell the cinq, everytime i drive it she never fails to bring a smile to my face!
Just had a guy come view it.. liked the car.. said its very clean etc.. said the engine was very noisy.. tappety. Now i havent got a clue what UT engines are supposed so sound like but he said it should be quieter. Hes gonna get a quote on how much ital cost to replace the tappets etc and get back to me. hes had 7 tubs in the past so he should know what hes talking about.
He did ask how much I paid for it which i told him £1050 which is true.. butive spent some stuff on it and ill be giving him my new popper kit with it (should be, it hasnt arrived yet) so ill take around £1100 for it.

course could be using that as a haggleing tool
"Tappets" or valve clearances are adjusted using shims on these engines. Shouldn't be expensive. I was told but a chap that a highlift cam can increase tappet noise on these engines, hasn't yours got a performance cam?
well im not going to let him haggle.. not sure if im going to accept his offer atall tbh as ive had a number of emails from people interested so could potentialy get more than he is offering.. although I would be happy with 1100. so if he will stretch to it he can have it.

Well that was a success of sorts - less than a week ago, selling it was possibly "on the cards", and now it's gone
