We have just been to Germany and back in Mrs Bean's Doblo and I am shocked by such poor MPG. The very best we achieved was 45.2 mpg on the trip computer and that was with carresing the car, On the way back it was at 42mpg. We didn't go over 70, stayed around 65 -67 mph. We had 2 adults and 1 six year old. The luggage fitted in the boot so really there was nothing to indicate trouble.
Now Mrs Bean uses her Dobie for work as a gardener. She does mainly town driving which kills the engine anyway but considering she has the 1.9 multijet and my Stilo MW is the 1.9JTD I would have thought the difference would be minimal on a long journey, (I average 53mpg).
So, any ideas?
