i ve decided im going to debadge my car (fiat signs included) not because im ashamed, hell no, but to add mystery to its style. im in the proces of looking at front grills and my options are plastic mesh or aluminium mesh. thing is i just cant decide. i drive a black stilo and if i was to go for aluminium i would like to change the plasic mesh on the front bumper also if possible, thing is im just not sure. if you have seen this on a black stilo before let me know your views, if you havent still let me no your views.

that is the question, im new to all this modding and am not sure if it possible to change all the bottom grills parts to suit aluminium mesh. as if i was changing to aluminium i would want to change the bottom grills also, so it all looks the same.

Well as far as im aware you cant buy already done mesh to replace the bottom grilles for the standard bumper (correct me if im wrong people)

Not sire if you would have come across this site but its quite good for seeing the different variations you can do, whether it be a mix of mesh and plastic, sliver mesh black mesh

Have a butchers and work out which one you want your car to look like, just bare in mind they're also all bodykitted

It's funny this thread coming up! I've just been to buy some mesh for my front bumper! (y) I'd go with the aluminium mate as it's stronger & will last longer.

hmmm... i'm still thinkin about replacing the grille... i think i could go with making an aluminium grille, but i've done it before, and it always looks cheap on closer inspection. I wouldn't mind a replacement plastic one, but they are way over priced, and have the atupid MSdesign badge on them.

The driled steel ones look ok, if you can make sure you don't cut a hole in half around the outside edge...

decisions decisions... what we need is a supplier that makes a shed load of choice grilles (including the stuff on the lower bumper) in good quality materials, and colours to match any car...

Only if you buy the MS design grille, ive got the mattig one (exactly the same as the standard grille but without the badge) Still overpriced for what it is but not as much as the MS design one

You have a picture of your motor with the grille on?

I actually bought a standard replacement grille, £20 from fiat & I've cut the badge out & am laminating it with fibreglass to look like the mattig grille! (y) The fibreglass kit is only 8 quid from halfords.
