Both my front springs failed last friday, luckily failed as I was going over a cattle grid kind of thing at this car park at about 5 mph, and not on the M8 at 70 mph. 
Odd they both snapped at the pig tail end at the same time. Multipla has 30,000 miles on the clock.
Obviously the newer type springs that were fitted after the recalls also fail, as they do on the late plate multipla's.
RAC picked us up as the OSF spring was rubbing against the tyre.
RAC took me to Fiat Paisley
( Arnold Clark ) as they were the nearest garage. Had to wait till wednesday to get multipla back, as parts needed to come to the dealer. An hour to fit each side. Expecting to pay sub £300 as its is a main dealer, but got charged £184.10 inc VAT, which I think is reasonable
New spring thickness looks thicker, than the ones that came out, maybe a another mod by Fiat.
