So does anyone have any ideas of how we can revive interest, if that is even possible, assuming that the interest has gone.

I certainly haven't lost interest, I just haven't had any time this week, but I should have some time available next week.

I do think, however, that a challenge each week has been quite intense, maybe not for everyone, but the amount of time it takes me to get things done, it was taking every free moment and the only break from it was during the vote. I know that is not the case for everyone because some people seem to get a chop done in a day or two, but I have appreciated the break this week, though I would like to get back to it.
 
Why don't you let Serin leave this challenge open for another week & in the future perhaps don't hold a challenge when there's a bank holiday coming up. (y)
 
It's a bit crap if only one person does the challenge, but I think if even two do it it's worthwhile, at least you have a comparison of different takes on the idea.

Maybe we should go with the idea I had before of voting for a car that people would like to mod and whoever's car gets chosen hosts it. That way maybe there would be more interest because the car to be modded would be a popular choice.
 
well i cant help by feel that SOMETHING has happened to the PSC

and the only thing i can think of is the feeling of uneasyness over the future of the PSC

i have had some people saing that they dont want to have votes anymore, and some that do

also disagreements about who should be allowed to vote, and which voting criteria we should vote with. this topic there have been other arguemets about!

and noone can say that there hasnt been a drastic lack of entries from around that time, and it wasnt because of choice of vehicle

we should try to drum up more intrest, as its an intresting thing to have on a forum, tho we do need to standardise it a little, as things have become a little outta hand

maybe someone could post a vote about how long these things should last, what people are voting on (skill or imagination) etc

because with all this confusion and dought hanging over the PSC, we aint gonna get anywhere!

and as ive said, ive PM'ed Cinqy, we cant do anything until he replys with his pic!

Hmmmm.... If it's open another week, is anyone else gonna do a chop ?

On this particular car I would have to decline because i'm just not into it.
Maybe we need a new challenge to revive the interest...see what happens.

If everyone entered the vote wold that revive interest ?

TBH.... i think we really really need the photoshop section up and running, not just these odd threads as all the past chops are left in the photoshop gallery and these threads just dissapear.
Seams a bit pointless sometimes. We need an ongoing section where chops can be constantly compared and showed off to each other and they will always be there to reefer to ;)

We could have two challenges running each month, one with rules and one without...

I honestly think the salvation of this challenge relies entirely on the photoshop section being sorted.
 
Certainly having things more organised and established should avoid arguements. If everyone knows and agrees that it should work a certain way, then any objections should have been resolved prior to the standardisation. I do think, however, that it is difficult with certain criteria, for example telling people what they have to vote for may clarify things to the voters, but won't necessarily change what they vote for, equally if we say, for example, the body shape can't be changed, what would be the acceptable limits of the modification.

In those respects, it's actually easier to leave things very open and as a free for all, but the downside of that has been seen. Maybe we all just need to accept that we each have our own ideas about what it is about, why we do it and what we are trying to achieve and each be happy doing our own thing.
 
well in my opinion the challenge is easy to sort. anyone can vote any mods allowed what more rules do you need ??? does it really matter if body shape is changed. in real life if you have neough money you can have anything you like done to ya car. so challenge should be same do anything any colour anyway. obviously i dont just mean pastin a new car on to it from another pic lol

rules juts make a simple lilttle weekly challenge get over complicated. everyone has different views on what looks nice.

you realy need 3 rules max

1) take orig car chop it
2) vote for what you like
2) enter by closing date

there ya go rules sorted lol.



anyways are we still doing this car for anotehr week ?? or a new one or ???

That's probably fair enough as you were the only entry this week, you would probably have won. Sorry, if anyone else entered, but didn't, if you know what I mean.

Are we all in agreement?
