Hello, I am in need of a new set of H4 bulbs since one has reached the end of it's life in my Panda 100HP. I Know headlights seem to be a sensitive subject so I have come here to get some opinions before purchasing. I am on holiday atm so there is no urgency in getting the bulbs, i would just like to order them for when I am home.

I have come across the Phillips White Vision range of bulbs on powerbulbs.com, which give off a whiter light opposed to the standard Panda bulbs.

Bulbs can be viewed here: w.w.w.powerbulbs.c.o.m/product/philips-whitevision-h4-twin

(remove full stops)

They are marked as legal under the specification tab on the product page however, I just want opinions on using a whiter bulb and has anyone experience White Visions?

They also include free matching sidelight bulbs which is a plus!

I got a different brand of white bulbs. In my opinion they look nicer. And white light looks brighter due to the colour but they are no better at all for visibility. That is my opinion after 6 months. I find they can also be harsher if you have tired eyes at night.

Try Osram Nightbreakers.
Have used them for several years now to upgrade the poor oem lights.
In my Panda they are brilliant (scuse pun). Supposed to be 50% brighter and better beam pattern.

Thise ^ I have them in my panda 100hp,i recommend them and they were on offer at my local euro carparts for £9.99 :)

Notice the Extreme Vision blurb states that their bulbs 'increase your reaction time'.
It takes me too long to react as it is!
Guess I'll stick to what I've got!

I've just bought these.....

Got these when I got the 100HP, noticeable difference from the bulbs it came with (and those in the Eleganza as well). They're a bit whiter than what was in there before, but not like the white from modern projector lamps. I think they look better than cold white anyway in a car of the 100HP's vintage.

Got the White Visions in the end. They look pretty white, gives the white panda 100HP a cleaner, more modern look in the dark. They also add a bit of brightness to the road, which is a plus. The only issue is that the included sidelights aren't an exact colour match, but that doesn't bother me too much.
Powerbulbs have a 20% sale on now so now is the time if you are looking to updrade!
