Technical Phase sensor signal error Fiat Punto GT 1998

Hi there!

My GT3 keeps getting rought idle and very bad at first engine start. I blink tested it and it shows code 1255 - Phase sensor signal. Is this the camshaft or crankshaft sensor? Also is there any possibility that the timing is not correct?

Welcome , nice looking gt
I’m thinking it means the crank sensor, probably would be worth trying one out . There’s a thread on here how to read punto gt fault codes .
