Technical Petrol hose

Met with a distinct small of petrol under the bonnet today.

Culprits were the 2 rubber hoses that conect the fixed piping to the injectors; both had cracked at the injector end.

Managed to cut 6 cm from each and "stretch" them to get over the problem for now, but can't find any spares for these. Fiat seem to want to sell you the full lengths of metal pipe plus rubbers at cost of about £80 for the pair.
Is this right? Anybody had experience?

If so will buy some rubber hose and new clips and cobble a repair.

does the flexi run to around the bulkhead and then join the metal pipe with a crimped end?

I had exactly the same issue a few weeks ago, thankfully mine had not cracked just the standard FIAT clips had come loose so I replaced them with jubilee clips.

I think that we are tied into FIAT parts due to the crimped ends but if anyone else knows of an alternative please share it the rest of us!

nah,you can cut/mangle those crimped ends off and remove the flexi pipe.then a piece of halfords braided fuel lines and jubilee clips sort it.centos get the same cracks in the pipes.
can go for stainless braided hoses if your into bling
