General Panday 5! Mission: Yorkshire 7th & 8th September

You should see the old boys at the fair they drive up into town on an evening on their traction engines leaving a massive wide track of squashed pebbles along the road, have several beers in the local then drive back to the field leaving a very wobbly wide track along the road

I can't believe you are driving over 200 miles to come and see us that's just commitment right there is that

Sounds perfect - where do I sign up?!! ;)

It is a bit of a trek, I must admit - it won't feel such a good idea in the morning.....

Even further for Vernon & Barbara though from deepest darkest Hampshire. :worship:

I'm glad no one feels a shovel to wallop people is unusual btw - I don't usually, but it's nice to have options. :)

I used to keep a proper full-sized one in the back of the Isuzu. I've found that an extending plastic one takes more "wallops", though; and that there isn't as much room for the resulting limp body in the Punto.... The hammock seats in Pippin may be better suited....

PS: Just waiting, now, for a knock on the door from the local police force.

Mine's actually an ancient coal shovel so perfect size - just waiting for the traction engine now (y)

Yes sometimes you wonder don't you - about someone taking it seriously I mean, not the hammock.... ;)

Yep, 265 miles according to the satnav, and with two stops on the way. One to drop off a gearbox for Panda V, and another to give back Bourgainvilleau Rosso his clx. Fortunately they can both come and meet us near the M1 so we should still be with you in time for the Saturday run. :slayer:
