My sunroofs arrived today.....Yipeeeeeee!!!! (y)

Ah.......as i thought...not great

Front one lots of stitching gone and a little brittle.

Rear one not to bad, still has stiching gone though.

At least they only cost £24 complete with the frames and postage.

Now heres the question......how on earth do you get the open/close lever off the frame?????

I may post this as a question if i get no replies here.

Also im thinking of "biting the bullet" and getting a set made using lurvly...soft... mohair.....Hmmmmmmm....would look so posh!!!!

If its good enough for mercs, bmws, ferraris etc its good enough for my panda!!!

Watch out for those guns as you drive out of t/heath!!!

Lol.

We got out all safe and sound. Made it up to Ipswitch to view the 4x4 and been thinking of nothing else since.

Got there, and there she was sitting :)

Now she isn't one of the £1600 Sisleys , but that don't bother me because I'm more likly to win it.

The welding for the MOT dosen't look to bad, and the overall condition I think for a 20yo 4x4 is 'aceptable'.

There is a little work that would need doing for her to be upto my standard (which isn't that high anyways :p), but she does seem mechanically sound. Slight oil leak, but nothing the 750L hasn't got, so that hasn't put me off.

The door's I can't really work out, they haven't got rust, but looks like they've been done to prevent rust. Hard to explain, but there is a plate on them, and extra paint, will add pics if I win.

I had a very good look underneath, and checked diff's for oil leaks, and there wern't any.

So all in all, a good motor, just in need of a minor tidy up and TLC, there was the odd slight '4x4' knock in the body work.

All sounds ok MEP.....(y)

I think the price is going to go way up though!!!

The 4x4 sisley for sale on the forum is up for £1200 you could have viewed that on the way home for me...in twickenham....

Although its a bit pricey for me (If you read this wots the lowest you will take??) i do fancy one!!!

Again good luck jon...i really hope it works out for you.

The 4x4 has gone above my Max bid, but the seller has called me, saying that he think's there is a bidder on there who is going to muck him about (no feedback etc) at that if this person does, I can have it at the price my highest bid is at :D

So I could still be in there :)

good luck Jon, I see he's a brand new ebayer with zip feedback :chin::hm:
