it probably just needs setting up now.. you heard how rough, lumpy and bumpy mine was running before the carb was set up. now it runs as good as fuel injection.
i am looking for a decent co2 reader so i can calibrate it again now its been used a bit.

Have you checked for air leaks on the inlet manifold? The 4x4 carb' mounts at a perpendicular angle to the Fantasia one so it's a no go there. While I had the carb off again I noticed emulsion deposited at the bottom of the carb' where the vacuum advance, sump breather and carb' diaphragm ports are. So I cleaned it out before refitting to see if this was causing the vacuum pressure to be low, cleaned all the pipes as well and tested the carb' diaphragm. Again no difference whatsoever. The timing is spot on. The fuel mix is near perfect, the alternator is fine so there's plenty of volts going to the coil to feed the nearly new spark plugs. This is really starting to **** me off and the green Panda Fantasia may soon be extinct.
I assume you mean the mounting bolts are on the wrong corners, if so an SPi inlet manifold makes life easier, four stud holes and evenly spaced. far easier to adapt. (got the same issue with my Dellorto)The 4x4 carb' mounts at a perpendicular angle to the Fantasia one so it's a no go there.
